Work together.
Three ways in. One direct line.
Showing Build a product.
Something worth bringing into the world.
For founders with a clear problem and a product to ship. Connect the interface, contracts, payments, and infrastructure in one hands-on engagement.
Contracts plus front end, shipped and deployed. Scope and availability are agreed in writing before work begins.
What you leave with.
Agreed in writing, before any money moves.
- A scoped product, built end to end
- Contracts and integrations where needed
- Tests, documentation, and deployment

A pre-mainnet review, free.
Point me at a public repository. I read it, and you get back severity-ranked findings against a published rubric, with the reasoning for each one. No access, no NDA, no call required first.
Send a repository- Two to three findings, ranked by severity
- The rubric they were ranked against
- What I would do about each, in order
- Three a month, because that is what I can read properly.

Guaranteed availability, priced above the equivalent project rate.
Discuss this scopeEach row is its own scope, not a bundle. A retainer is an ongoing engagement. A written scope, a fixed price and a date before any money moves. If the scope is not delivered by that date, you stop paying and keep everything shipped so far.
You should know where things stand.

Agree on the real problem.
Thirty minutes to work out whether this is worth doing. If it is, you get a written scope with a fixed price and a date, before any money moves.
Written scope · Price · Timeline - 02
Build in reviewable pieces.
Work lands in reviewable pieces against the dates in the scope. You see commits, not status updates. Anything that slips, you hear about when it slips, not at the end.
Implementation · Review · Milestones - 03
Leave the work in good hands.
Tests, documentation and a deploy that someone else on your team can run. The measure of the engagement is whether it keeps working after the invoice is paid.

Your engineer.
A direct line.
I am the principal engineer at Quill Labs. I work across protocols, intelligent systems and developer tooling, and I am the one you deal with on the scope, the implementation and the handover.
Small by design, with the same care for the invisible parts as for the interface people see.
What happens after the first conversation?
First, we work out whether the problem and the engagement are a fit. If they are, you receive a written scope with deliverables, a price, and a timeline before the work begins.
Can you work with an existing team or codebase?
Yes. An engagement can cover a specific contract, review, integration, or SDK within an existing system. A monthly retainer is available when the work benefits from ongoing context.
Are these prices a fixed quote?
These are published ranges, not an automatic quote. The scope, dependencies, and deliverables determine the final price and schedule. A protocol review, contract build, and SDK are distinct scopes, not a single bundled service.
What does the handover include?
The agreed implementation, its tests, documentation, and deployment context. The aim is for someone else on your team to be able to understand and run the work after the engagement ends.
